THREADS of CHANGE at the Museum of Design Atlanta is an exhibition exploring intricate connections between humanity and the natural world. As the curators state: “By translating scientific data into striking textile installations, this exhibition brings vital environmental issues to life, inspiring action and fostering a deeper understanding of our planet. Discover works that highlight the beauty and fragility of the Earth”, including:

A crafty representation of threatened ocean ecosystems, the Coral Forest works on display are crocheted from yarn and plastic detritus. Also on show is a hand-drawn blackboard depicting the hyperbolic mathematics underlying the Crochet Reef project.
